Throughout my life I’ve always over analyzed situations. I was a logical thinker which in certain situations benefited me. But on the other side of that spectrum, it caused difficulties in my life that I couldn’t quite understand. 

I was raised in a religious family. We would carve out time every night to read the Bible or other books that went hand in hand with the Bible. Even during that time I questioned certain things that I rarely received an answer for. And the answers that I did receive were vague and/or insufficient for my growing mind. Both cases caused me to question more and I came to a point where I felt something was missing.

Years passed, events unfolded, both pleasant and unpleasant which made me slip into deep thought about myself and life. But that is all I did. I just continued “thinking” without doing any type of searching for the answer or meaning of who I am and how/why things unfold for me the way they do.

Eventually an urge came upon me to search for answers. I consumed books. I met new people from all walks of life. I learned from both the success they achieved and the failures they endured. I took note of the commonalities they shared. And with that knowledge I started slowly applying what I learned into my own life.

I now know who I am. I accept the love I have dwelling within me. I hold dearly the beliefs that I want to experience in my life. I enjoy the every day blessings that I experience. I choose to expect only the best for myself and others.

It is my aim to bring peace and understanding to others. To help people achieve all that they desire in life. To take the necessary steps to bring about the happiness they crave. 

To open their eyes to who they truly are, love. 

Thriver

The logical mind has always ruled me, as it was safe. Getting into my heart space was always scary because of my past, because of the fear of letting go with someone. But holding on to past experiences and fear does not help create a love of a lifetime. It doesn’t keep you safe. Holding on to that baggage, it hinders everything. It makes you grasp at the breadcrumbs instead of understanding your worth. It makes you accept things as they are, instead of realizing the infinite power you have inside of you to create it! Knowing that you can create the love you desire from scratch so to speak is...awe inspiring, freeing, relieving....and you already possess that power inside of you!

It's Time

I’m no expert on life, but I’ve lived long enough to know that sometimes things have to get messy to get clean. Sometimes, we have to fall on our butts to understand what really matters. 
To stop accepting what we thought was what we truly wanted. 

To know who we are and what we are worth. 

To tear down the walls that we have built. 

To allow ourselves feel the love we truly deserve.
