SHARON AND I DIDN’T START ANY OF THIS TO BE INSPIRING.

We started this because we were done lying. We started this because things happened in our lives that, finally, allowed us to stop, ask “what the fuck” and then, as never before, make decisions for ourselves that weren’t steeped in the other voices that we had given our inner power to.

Me, Chase, yeah, I hit my wall years before even meeting my beloved, Sharon—after a lifetime of swallowing pain, performing strength, doing what was expected of me, and trying to outrun the damage I never asked for but carried anyway. 

I nearly didn’t survive it.

Sharon hit hers—twice—diagnosed with two cancers, Stage 3 Cervical and Thyroid, again,at the same damn time, but even more deadly was uncovering of the silence she’d lived in for decades without really even knowing “why”. For her, in her culture, and the way her heart is geared to love and care for others, was the inner pressure to be perfect. To provide/ To be composed-at all times. To be the dependable one. 

The woman who held it all together while herself, without even knowing it, was dying inside.

We didn’t meet each other in our “perfect” moments. We met each other in the raw. In the real. In the mess. And instead of pretending we had it all figured out, we told the truth. First to ourselves, and the with the freedom to share that truth with one another.

But do not think that this shit happened overnight. Hell no.

But we made it. We learned. We deepened our relationship. Forged our own definitions Self and Love, and then, and only then could we give.

To ourselves.
To each other.
And now, to you.

THIS ISN’T A BRAND.

We built The Love You’re After because we lived the opposite of it for far too long.

Who smiled through our own resentment.
Who twisted ourselves to be loved for people that weren’t even necessarily capable of giving the very thing we so desperately wanted.

We don’t do that anymore.

This is the work we wish someone had handed us when we were still pretending to be fine. When we were quietly unraveling behind all the roles we thought we had to play. But it worked perfectly. 

We learned what we needed to know, deep down. This isn’t theory. This isn’t hypothetical. This is lived. Raw and real. And it’s something that we all share in common, whether we want to believe it or not.

So now, we offer it to you.

Not as experts.
Not as coaches.
But as two people who finally chose to live lives we could love—out loud, all in, no more hiding.

It’s Time.

We’re here to show you what it looks like to let go of the old script and write your own, on your own terms, with your own Self at the very center for a change.

Unless we choose to validate them by giving up what we truly desire and who really are.

Yes, I actually wrote it. And yes, I actually say it.

There are times in this life, when the opportunity arises where, to experience the true grandeur of the life that you truly desire and deserve to live, one must simply say, honestly, "fuck it". 
What do you really want?
